Lately it seems that a lot of people are in grumpy mode. Why? One reason, the state of the world has become a hostile environment. We are at the mercy of our rulers who seem to want war and poverty.
I watched a documentary last night called "one percent". It was about the richest people in the USA and how they impact our government and how our tax dollars are spent. They also talked about how the rich get richer. For example: In the Bush administration, they were trying to get rid of Inheritance tax. This would give the rich even more money and there would not be rich families, but now you would have dynasties ruling the world. This is a crazy ass idea. Are we turning back to the 16th Century?
So how do we stay happy with assholes running the world?
What are you doing EVERYDAY that you look forward to? What is getting you up, dressed and out into this messed up world? Music and Art make me happy these days. I have a day job, but when I am home, I am always creating. I also get out and mingle with friends and family. I say hello to someone and smile. When they smile back, it feels good. Give your time somewhere on a regular basis. The best thing about giving, isn’t the recognition or the thank you, it’s the way it makes you feel inside.
