Poetry in Silver Lake Park- The Waterways Project of Ten Penny Players wants you to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Waterways Project Publishing Program and it's first Staten Island event! Come read or listen to a poem at Silver Lake Park. Find a poem among the many publications on display at the event. There will be no amps or microphones to interfere with the pleasure of quietly enjoying poetry with others. Small groups will cluster under the trees to read poetry to each other. Choose to read from the waterways project's publications or bring a favorite or original poem of your own.
