Natural Rhythm: An Enchanting Afternoon of Indian Dance
Saturday, September 3, 2011; 2pm

Staten Island Zoo, 614 Broadway

"Natural Rhythm: An Enchanting Afternoon of Indian Dances" incorporates the revered position occupied by various animals and birds into several dances that show that we are all codependent in nature. It is nearly impossible for man to exist as a solitary entity in this world. A healthy understanding and respect of the delicate balance that exists between man and nature is essential to the longevity of mankind. The goal of this performance is to portray the symbiotic relationship and rhythm that exists in a natural environment through the art form of dance.

Cost: Free with SI Zoo Admission
