Art By The Ferry Redux
I wanted to take a moment to thank all the friends and neighbors who came out for the Art By The Ferry event in St. Georges the last two weekends. This event was a blast! There were lots of artists and performances and wonderful handcrafted works for sale. The Staten Island Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade drew out lots of supporters and the Day De Dada parade was just the kind of whimsical silliness that we need! GreenMan and Galileo, my two creations will be showing, and hopefully selling like hot cakes, at the Narrows Botanical Garden on Sunday, May 17; on the boardwalk at Bradley Beach, NJ Memorial Day weekend and at the Arts on Bleeker Street on June 14 in Greenwich Village. I've lived on SI since 1979, but have mainly worked in Manhattan and online. Online education has really exploded in recent years, and there's lots of positive opportunity.
Someone sent me an invite to this site maybe a month or two ago, I signed up, and then today I got an email notice of an update here on the site -- so I logged in, and have actually been looking around some, which I didn't have time for on the day I joined (work stuff was going pressing).
