"That was so descriptive I could actually visualize it. It's very debilitating to work in that type of environment. I've been there. I'm rooting for you Jules. Thanks for the tip about quick emails."

The Power Of Delete

I love to take photographs and I just can't seem to part with them. I love to capture the many facets of life and wonders of this world. I'm the person at the family gathering catching you doing something stupid. I walk around New York City looking up and snapping away like a tourist. When I go on vacation half of my carry on is photo gear. I just hate to have to miss capturing a magical moment because I didn't have my camera with me. Which leads me to this...how do I delete?I am protective of…See More

City Council Approves Lift Of Term Limits For Doomberg

I thought this was America, where people have a say in what happens in this country. I guess I am much too naive in believing that. The people spoke twice by voting for term limits. Billionaires decide they know what is best for us and decide to lift that ban. How is Doomberg going to guide us in NYC through this financial crisis when he was in office during the whole debaucherous raid on our banks, housing and retirement savings? He didn't stop that from happening. I read the articles and I… Continue

Lake Films Does It Again

This past weekend Lance Reha of Lake Films had the premiere screenings of his latest three movies. It was invitation only and the place was packed. Everyone was excited to see his latest efforts. First up was Dylan's Tree which featured Frank Albanese who is always great and gives a chilling perfomance here. Rocco Cherichella gives a credible turn as Dylan. Dylan uncovers a family truth that may be interlaced with his bloodline. Next up was Bullet, which proved to be the most intense of the… Continue

The Irish And How They Got That Way

There is a great show playing at Snug Harbor called The Irish And How They Got That Way. The performers are great. The singers and musicians are topnotch. I just saw the show yesterday and really enjoyed it. If you would like to see a talented group of performers put on a really good show, right here on SI I might add, go see this. You won't be disappointed. I think it is playing this weekend and next so go check it out.

The Mets And Shea Stadium

I'm bummed out about the Mets. That sure was a downer. But it was nice to see the closing ceremonies for Shea Stadium. Too bad the next stadium won't be named Shea Stadium II. No, commercialism rules with CitiField Park as evidenced by the naming of all of our new stadiums, arenas, concert halls, etc. When we take the personalization out of everything that is the failure. Yeah, name it after a bank. That is nice considering the banks are failing.
