Join us at the 3rd annual art & literary happening "St George Day on Staten Island".
Starting at 12:00 noon Day de Dada members will be working and collaborating on
"Exquisite Corpse" with festival goers.
The event is free and will take place on Bay St between Victory Blvd and Hannah St.

Saturday June 6th, 2009 "Dada Shop -o- Rama" at Art by the Ferry
Art by the Ferry is an annual festival covering two weekends of art, music and live performance in the neighborhood around the Staten Island Ferry.
Day de Dada Shop -o- Rama will be a moveable feast and parade of performance art exploring the mix of art and commerce. The route will include stops at the Staten Island Ferry, Staten Island Museum, Show gallery and more.
Ideas include setting up a Dada Art Store and encouraging interactions between artists, audience and customers in stores along the way.
Our time slot is in the afternoon - updates will be posted with the exact time.

Saturday June 13th, 2009 "Day de Dada" at Figment
Figment on Governor's Island is an annual multi day festival only a short ferry ride from Manhattan. It is a wild mix of live art, music and happenings. All this in a beautiful island park.
The artists of Day de Dada will spend the day exploring and performing on the island. This will be our third year at Figment.

Art at Bay Been Good for Day de Dada
When Day de Dada was asked to take part in the show "Residual Effects" at the Art at Bay Gallery I had to wonder how it would be for our performance art group to be in an "on the wall" gallery show. We're used to mixing it up, acting out and interacting where ever we go. Could we figure out how to take our brand of performance art and put it in a gallery settting for a whole month? Would the impact of our live shows be lost?
So many questions and only one month to answer them.…
