Hello everyone, happy holidays in August!
Here are a few topics I might like to see discussed;

Does Staten Island "deserve" its bigoted reputation, to any degree?

Are there really any civic, religious, or community leaders that genuinely represent the issues of neighborhoods, or communities, without their own agenda in mind?

North, South, East , and West... why are services and grants so unevenly distributed?

How can we get the media to hear every opinion? This brings to mind a story... when various media outlets were covering the hate crimes issue in Port Richmond, they rarely asked a level headed person a question...instead they found the most polarized, or worse, the least educated, person to answer the questions. Locally, we might understand their choice ( after all that is the quality of people you might only find walking the streets in the middle of the afternoon when most responsible people are at work), but those people don't represent Staten Island, or even their own neighborhods as a whole.

Lastly, am I the only one taken aback by Mr. Alegretti's commercial, "He's a paisan, he's one of us"... that statement may cover a lot of voters, but it certainly leaves out a lot of constituents.
I like where you're coming from. Are you coming to be on the show tonight?
